Day 88

Workout – Off day!!

Breakfast – Shake…you know the drill. Adding Chia seeds along with flax and hemp. Measuring so I am not adding too much fat. Even though its GOOD fat.

Lunch – Zaxby’s!! Grilled chicken Caesar salad with out the croutons. And the dressing…I use my own that I make. Cider vinegar, organic evoo, bragg. 1 chicken tender, it was fried! Yay.

Dinner – went out so dinner was basically skipped. Ate the other chicken tender (I ordered 2) and did not finish the chicken in the salad so ate that too.  Topped it off with some almonds and raisins.  It was too late to eat anything else and I was not starving!

Day 87

Workout – Zumba class.  Got there late as usual but still worked it out.

Breakfast – Shake

Lunch – Collard greens, basically ate the rest of the pot! Yum

Dinner – Vegetables in a bag, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. Ate the entire bag.  Added some shrimp. Some is an understatement…it was a 1/2 pound! Nightcap was almonds and raisins.

Day 86

Workout –  Kick boxing class.  I turned it up a notch today.  They hated me but it was worth the anger.

Breakfast – Shake

Lunch – Can of Amy’s tomato soup with a can of chicken breast (like tuna). Organic! Honey crisp apple medium in size.

Dinner – Went to a wine tasting after kick boxing class.  My student twisted my arm, lol. Had a chocolate covered strawberry too! Dinner was light, some rice works chips and a bowl of collards.

Day 84

Workout – Park!!!  Another nice day. 4 miles 150 push-ups.

Breakfast – small sliced green apple, 1/2 cucumber with olive oil, cider vinegar and sea salt pepper bragg amino. Almonds and raisins.

Lunch – 3 baked wing drums, rice works chips (salsa flavor)

Dinner – Collard greens, tilapia and 1/2 sweet potato. Welch’s fruit snacks AND almonds and raisins for dessert! Better than the cake bites I had the other day, especially since I had 2 of them (peanut butter and raspberry).  I forgot to log this on that day!!

Day 81

Workout – 3.2 miles, 120 push-ups. Ladies in your mid to late 30’s and older….do PUSH-UPS! It is a fool proof way to keep tone in your arms are you age. BUILD MUSCLE.

Breakfast – Liquid meal….protein shake.

Lunch – Skipped

Dinner – Collard greens and okra a big bowl!

Day 80

Workout – Zumba.  Class was great!!  Learned a new routine, always challenging!  I bet I will be a little sore tomorrow. Love it when you can work out and not feel like you are. Ladies, please try Zumba and belly dancing!!

Breakfast – Same ole’ same ole’. Vegan protein shake, strawberries, flax seeds, hemp seeds, hemp milk, fiber water. Blend!

Lunch – leftovers: quinoa, broccoli and shrimp.

Dinner – Small green apple, medium bowl of my homemade chili!! UMMMMMM good.

Day 79

I am trying my best not to fall off keeping this food journal.  I am behind so am trying to catch it up by digging in the crates of my mind to remember what the hell I ate. Bare with me!

Workout – Kick boxing class.  I kinda lallygagged around today but I worked a tiny sweat. Any sweat is better than none!

Breakfast – Protein shake. Vegan…you know the drill.

Lunch – HUGE salad. Romaine and spinach, olives,  Roma tomatoes, cucumbers, red, yellow and green peppers, red onions and green onions, radishes. Cider vinegar, olive oil, sea salt, bragg amino. Green apple and an orange.  BIG lunch today.

Dinner – I couldn’t eat all my salad so I finished it for dinner. Also made quinoa, broccoli and shrimp. You should ask me for the recipe!

Day 78

I have been keeping a journal of my eating habits for 78 days! Thats a big deal for someone who jumps all over the place and has a hard time finishing something she starts. I must pat myself on the back! Oh and HAPPY VALENTINE’s DAY!!!!

Workout – Off Day…but its very tempting. I have been asking for this kind of weather so I can get my butt outside and run more. Its here and what do I do with it, slack. LOL.

Breakfast – Vegan protein shake….no detox but this is my ritual no regular days as well. I only detox 2-3 times per year but drink my breakfast almost everyday. I try my best to have inflammatory foods rarely, maybe 10-20% of my meals. Everything is is clean. My digestive system just does much better. And my skin. And my sinuses.

Lunch – orange with a little sea salt. Can of Amy’s split pea soup and 3 baked wing drums.

Dinner – 1/2 cucumber, 2 Roma tomatoes with cider vinegar, sea salt, olive oil and bragg amino. Roasted turkey deli meat.  You know the good kind, the expense kind!  LOL Capped the night ff with some almonds and raisins.

Finally had that alcoholic beverage! You know it was a margarita heavy on the tequila! One word – EXCELLENT.

Day 77

Detox is OVER!!  I lasted for 41 full days, no alcohol. Yippee. It was not as bad as one might think. I feel really good too. I will have a celebratory cocktail for sure.

Workout – 3 plus miles and 100 push-ups. What a beautiful day it was today. I hope it was where you are!

Breakfast – boiled egg, sliced honey crisp apple.

Lunch – 2 handfuls of rice chips, a couple sweet potato chips  and a few pieces of roasted turkey deli meat.  No nitrates, preservatives, antibiotic, additives or gluten.

Dinner – Chili, homemade and GREAT! Had a 2nd helping :o.  Some nuts and raisins for dessert.
